Our Team
Craig Richman, CLU®, ChFC®, AIFA®, CDFA®
Private Wealth Advisor
Since 1979, Craig has been working to help protect and consult with his clients on their financial issues. In 1998, Craig joined Commonwealth Financial Network®, a Registered Investment Adviser-broker/dealer that helps independent advisers like us serve their clients.
Craig has always worked closely with his clients, and he started to notice a trend: a lot of women were coming to him facing financial upheaval as a result of divorce or another transition. To better help his clients, he became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) in 2014. This helps him better understand the financial implications of divorce and separation on his clients.
Craig is known for being responsive to the needs of his clients and for seeking out additional learning and professional development opportunities to help him become a better financial consultant and resource. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) certifications from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Craig went on to earn the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® (AIFA®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies and the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. To help his clients better manage their portfolios, Craig has completed the dividend analyst course from Morningstar, Inc.
Craig also believes that being a better holistic planner requires living in the present and putting your energy into intentional living and personal growth. Craig is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT*200) through Yoga Alliance and has continued advanced studies in vinyasa yoga.
A well-rounded life needs friends, family, and service to others. Craig served others as a board member and past chairman of the Florida Atlantic University's (FAU) National Alumni Association. He also served as past president of the Rotary Club of Boca Raton and trustee member of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. He currently is involved in two finance committees in his development.
Craig's wife, Janice, is a registered radiographer and Pilates teacher. They've been married for 31 years and have two wonderful children and a granddaughter.
Craig enjoys walking, pickleball, golf, dancing, yoga, and meditation. In addition, Craig enjoys fine dining, single malt scotch, and cigars.
